Our Signature Treatment

Microblading

Microblading is a semi-permanent eyebrow treatment that uses a fine hand tool to draw individual hair-like strokes of pigment into the skin. It's best suited to anyone with sparse, patchy or uneven eyebrows who wants fuller, more defined ones, so you don't have to do them every morning.

What Is Microblading?

Rather than just removing eyebrow hair, microblading adds to the appearance of it. A technician will deposit pigment into the upper layers of your skin using tiny, controlled strokes that mimic real hair. They fill in the gaps, evening out the symmetry and building an arch that suits your face shape.

A full touch up is normally recommended between 12 and 18 months after treatment, but the pigment itself can remain visible for up to three years, though it does gradually fade. The true length and longevity depend on your skin type, lifestyle and aftercare.

What to Expect: The Process

Your technician starts by mapping and measuring your natural brow to work out a shape, symmetry, and arch that suits you, building the ideal design onto your skin first so that you can see it before committing to anything. The skin is cleaned and numbing products are typically applied to keep it comfortable.

Using the microblading hand tool fitted with very fine needles, the technician draws tiny controlled hair strokes across the brow which deposit pigment as they go in different directions. The placement and direction of the pigment imitates the way hair naturally grows. After the treatment, it's normal for the brows to look darker, sharper or even swollen, which settles as the skin heals.

Microblading vs. Threading, Waxing & Tweezing

Threading, waxing and tweezing are all hair removal methods. They shape your brows by taking hair away. Microblading on the other hand works the opposite way. It adds to your eyebrows, so the areas that you feel are lacking can be filled in. This is different from tattooing, which looks more unnatural than microblading.

Aftercare & Healing Timeline

Healing happens in stages, and it's normal for your brows to look different at each one:

  • Days 1–2: Brows appear darker and more defined than the final result. Avoid touching, scratching, or getting the area wet.
  • Days 3–7: Skin may flake or peel. Let it happen naturally rather than picking at it.
  • Following weeks: Brows can look temporarily faint as new skin forms over the pigment. Colour returns as the skin settles.
  • Full healing: Takes a couple of weeks. Strokes soften into a natural look, and colour settles to less intense than right after treatment.

Who It's Suitable For

Microblading works best for anyone with sparse, patchy or uneven eyebrows who wants a fuller, low maintenance shape. A consultation beforehand is the best way to see if it's right for you and your skin, especially if you have oily skin as it can affect how nicely the pigment holds.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does microblading last?

Most clients need a touch-up between 12 and 18 months after treatment, though the pigment itself can stay visible for up to three years as it gradually fades.

Does microblading hurt?

A numbing product is applied before treatment to keep it comfortable. Most clients describe it as mild pressure or scratching rather than pain.

How is microblading different from an eyebrow tattoo?

Eyebrow tattoos are done by machine with a single needle bundle. Microblading strokes are drawn entirely by hand, which is what gives the result its natural, hair-like texture rather than a solid block of colour.

What does aftercare involve?

Keeping the area dry and avoiding sweat for about a week, letting any flaking skin shed naturally rather than picking at it, and coming back for your touch-up appointment a few weeks after your first session.
